INVESaT WIKI is a dynamic online tool designed by the INVESaT expert partner D‘APPOLONIA in order to provide entrepreneurs in the space industrial sectors with an information platform describing the sector of activity, in particularly in GMES, GALILEO and telecommunication areas. The content of INVESaT WIKI is based on documentation that was collected throughout the first year of project activities. All references and information sources have been highlighted, allowing users to directly access the original source. The conception of INVESaT WIKI is based on the famous wikipedia virtual encyclopaedia. The reliability of the system will be guaranteed by the principle that INVESaT WIKI is an “open” system that allows for modifications, additional references etc. to be integrated, so that more and more data will become available. As soon as doubtful information appears, it is corrected by another user who knows better. The possibility of editing INVESaT WIKI is limited to registered users, who have to provide some reference and explain their interest in INVESaT WIKI.
This first Europe INNOVA Workshop had the objective to explore the concept of lead markets as proposed by the Aho Report on creating a market for innovative products and services. The workshop provided an opportunity for exchange between Europe INNOVA partners and other key stakeholders to openly discuss possibilities of creating new markets in Europe based on leading edge technologies. The participants identified and analysed possible supporting measures for the concept of lead markets to be undertaken by Europe INNOVA, taking into account economic analysis as well as previous experience.
